As you may know, the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) mandates that all children’s sleepwear starting at 9-12M either follow tight fit standards OR be flame retardant, which includes treating garments with toxic chemicals.

All of our fabrics adhere to government fire safety guidelines and none are created with toxic chemicals. In many cases, fit will vary by fabric. For footies in sizes 9-24M, RightFit™ footies are roomy with a relaxed fit and babies can likely wear the age-appropriate size. Sleepwear styles made of other fabrics are tight-fitting, and it might help to size up.
