The Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) mandates that all children’s sleepwear starting at 9-12M either follow tight fit standards OR be flame retardant, which usually includes treating garments with toxic chemicals. 

Magnetic Me follows the tight-fit mandate on our modal, CloudStretch, and organic cotton onesies so as not to use toxic chemicals on our fabrics. This means that the fit on our 9M and up styles will be tighter than the fit on PRE-9M; in these instances, it is recommended to size up. We do make these products as big as we can, while still making sure they comply with this required safety regulation.
